We manufacture flowmeters of swing jet type (also called fluidistor oscillator). These sensors have advantages as high accuracy and reliability during a long life time. The gasmeters also have a very wide flow range (turn down ratio 100:1). The liquid meters have a dynamic range 50:1.
When the flow is passing through the meter a spontaneous oscillation will be created in the fluidistor (the meter head). The frequency of this oscillation is proportional to the flow velocity.
These flow meters are not using moving parts to measure. They are working down to very low Reynolds number, meaning very low flow rates. The meter head of the flowmeter has the same size for all flowmeter sizes. This fact enables for the user to keep his spare part stock very small. The service demand is very small or none at all. On request the customer can order the flowmeter with built in service valves. This makes it possible to open the device for inspection or service during its running.
Generally the meters are very insensitive against particles in the fluid, depending on the self cleaning qualities of the fluidistor oscillating principle. No dirt will be left inside the meter head.
These flowmeters are used within different kinds of heavy industries, sewage-treatment plants, district heating systems and so on. The gasmeters are measuring most gases as: compressed air, Methane gas (biogas, natural gas), Acetylene, Argon, Nitrogen, Oxygen, Hydrogen. Our liquid meters are most suitable for low viscosity liquids as water, gasoline, diesel- and light fuel oils.
Intrinsically safe models allow measuring explosive or inflammable media and installations in potentially explosive atmospheres.
